Apollo Hospitals announced on August 18, 2026, that its “Always Open. Always Here.” initiative will extend routine and planned healthcare services to Sundays across its hospitals. The company said services will include outpatient consultations, diagnostics, preventive health checks, follow-ups and scheduled procedures, while emergency and inpatient services remain available 24x7.
Apollo said the initiative aims to address weekday time constraints that can delay routine healthcare. Founder and Chairman Dr. Prathap C. Reddy said the move continues Apollo’s commitment to routine and preventive care throughout the week, while Executive Vice Chairperson Dr. Preetha Reddy said Sunday access could help working professionals and caregivers seek care at a more convenient time.
